Andrew L. Groat

Andrew L. Groat was born and raised in Upstate NY. After graduating from Deerfield Academy, he attended Colgate University. Following Colgate, Andrew earned his Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Andrew began his career in 1994 working for the Roland Morris Group in New York. Covering a variety of well-known Hedge Funds , the group was with Salomon Smith Barney when Andrew became Vice-President of Institutional Sales. His trading desk provided futures and cash execution on a global basis in commodity, stock index, fixed income and currency markets. Andrew returned to Central New York where he was Director of Operations at the Smith-Lee Company, Inc. In 2004 he returned to his passion: the markets. He was a Registered Representative and Advisory Representative at RBC Wealth Management and Ridgeway Conger.

Andrew founded Aldemar Research Corporation in June 2015.

William J. Pearlman

Bill was raised in Syracuse, New York. After graduating from the University of Michigan, he served in the United States Army. He did graduate work at the University of Brussels.

Following graduation from the New York Institute of Finance, Bill worked with several major brokerage firms. He has extensive experience in all areas of private wealth management, and has guided his clients through several market downturns. A classic tape-reader, Bill is deft at maneuvering through market turmoil.

Having served on multiple local charity boards, Bill is deeply involved in his community. He is also fluent in French and Spanish.

Bill joined Aldemar Research Corporation in February, 2019.
